How to Register for a Virtual Pag-IBIG Account

You need a Virtual Pag-IBIG account before you can access online services. There are three registration methods depending on your situation.

Method 1: Via Loyalty Card Plus (Fastest)

This is the quickest way if you already have a Pag-IBIG Loyalty Card Plus from AUB or UnionBank.

  1. Go to pagibigfundservices.com/virtualpagibig
  2. Click “Create account via Loyalty Card Plus”
  3. Enter your MID Number, select your bank, and input the last 4 digits of your card
  4. Verify your identity with the OTP sent to your registered mobile number
  5. Set your email address and choose security questions
  6. Check your email for a temporary password
  7. Log in and create your permanent password

Method 2: Online Activation (No Loyalty Card)

If you don’t have a Loyalty Card Plus, you can still register online.

  1. Go to the Virtual Pag-IBIG portal

  4. Verify with OTP sent to your phone

  4. Enter your MID Number and Password

How to Apply for Loans via Virtual Pag-IBIG

One of the most popular features is online loan application. You can apply for two types of short-term loans through the portal.

Multi-Purpose Loan (MPL)

The MPL provides quick cash for personal needs at 10.5% annual interest.

  1. Log in to Virtual Pag-IBIG
  2. Click “Apply for and Manage Loans”
  3. Select “Apply for a Short-term Loan”
  4. Choose Multi-Purpose Loan from the dropdown
  5. Validate your MID Number
  6. Enter your contact information and verify with OTP
  7. Provide your cash card details (Loyalty Card Plus or LandBank Cash Card)
  8. Upload required documents:
    • Completed loan application form
    • Valid government ID (front and back)
    • Selfie holding your ID and cash card

Eligibility: At least 24 monthly contributions with 1 contribution in the last 6 months. Maximum loan is 80% of your Total Accumulated Value (TAV).

Calamity Loan

The Calamity Loan offers lower interest at 5.95% per annum for members in calamity-declared areas.

  1. Follow the same steps as MPL but select Calamity Loan from the loan type dropdown
  2. Choose the specific calamity declaration that matches your area
  3. Select your preferred repayment period (up to 36 months)
  4. Complete the remaining steps as above

Eligibility: Same contribution requirements as MPL, plus you must reside in a calamity-declared area and apply within 90 days of the declaration.

How to Check Your Pag-IBIG Savings
