Types of Holidays

  • Regular Holidays: New Year, Maundy Thursday, Good Friday, Araw ng Kagitingan, Labor Day, Independence Day, Bonifacio Day, Christmas, Rizal Day, Eid'l Fitr, Eid'l Adha
  • Special Non-Working: Ninoy Aquino Day, All Saints' Day, Immaculate Conception, Last Day of the Year, etc.
  • Double Holiday: When two regular holidays fall on the same day (e.g., April 9 if Maundy Thursday and Araw ng Kagitingan coincide)

Key Rules

  • OT pay is computed on top of the day's base rate
  • OT premium is +25% on regular days, +30% on rest days/holidays
  • Night differential (10%) applies on top if OT is between 10PM-6AM
  • Both daily-paid and monthly-paid employees are entitled to OT
